let’s be honest, life can feel so overwhelming sometimes. 

It is so easy to make it seem like you have your life all together on social media and in casual conversation. But, God knows when you don’t have it together. He knows when you‘re struggling, when you’re not feeling worthy, when you’re believing all the lies the enemy is telling you. The Lord wants you to bring him those worries because He is fully equipt to meet you right where you are (Psalm 55:22)  God isn’t scared of the vulnerability, He isn’t scared of your pain, and He isn’t scared of your doubt. 

I’ve been listening to the same song over and over, “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. The words have been ringing in my head for days now and they simply the speak truth about what God says about you.

“You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing. You say I am strong when I think weak. You say I am held when I am falling short. And when I don’t belong, You say I am yours.“ 

First off how amazing is that?? We get to serve a God that sees us for who we truly are, not who we think we are or who the enemy likes to make us out be. My prayer has been that I will be able to stand firm in the fact that because God has said I am all of those things that means I AM all of those things. Even through the mess ups and the confusion I am a daughter of the King and nothing I say or do will ever change that. The same goes for all of you.

So, yes life can be so overwhelming. BUT instead of being so consumed with these worldly things let’s be overwhelmed by the love shown to us by the father, let’s be overwhelmed with grace instead of fear, and with love instead of lies. Let’s be overwhelmed by His goodness.
