Hey, everyone!  I just wanted to hop over here and give you guys a little update, maybe share some things the Lord is doing in good ol' Gainesville!

Believe it or not I've been in CGA for almost 3 1/2 months now! It feels like I moved in just yesterday. CGA has easily been the most stretching season of my life and I'm so grateful for that. Class has looked like anything from acting out conflict resolution/hard conversations to diving into personality types such as enneagram and Myers Briggs to book discussions and  kick ball at house church! You never really know what you're going to get around here.

I think conflict day was one of my favorite yet most terrifying days of class so far. I tend to talk myself down a lot when it comes to conflict and having hard conversations so naturally I was thinking, "there is no way I can do this". I was telling this couple on the race that they couldn't date due to the commitment they signed (all hypothetical of course). I think I blacked out for a second but once it was over I was ready to receive some brutal feedback from my class. Instead I was met with nothing but encouragement and comments saying I'm at natural at clear and kind hard conversations. By choosing into this exercise the Lord tore down my fear piece by piece. Telling myself I can't do conflict is just straight up a LIE! And praise God that I don't have to live in that lie but I actually get to walk in the truth!

On another note, I'm currently working at Dicks Sporting Goods which I NEVER thought I would say. This job was definitely a gift from the Lord and I actually waited it on it for a month because I really felt like that is where God wanted me. And here we are a few months later and I'm right where the Lord said I would be (thanks God)!

Living in a house with 15 women is definitely never boring! From house dinners at the park, jumping in the lake a sunset, ice cream runs and never ending closets. Life in community is really beautiful! Now hear me out, it is also REALLY hard. We disagree, we get annoyed at each other, we argue about chores and dishes BUT we all love each other a whole lot. Honestly, I'd take a dirty kitchen every day if it meant living with my best friends (and that is saying a lot for me).

ALSO! I'm still fundraising for CGA and I'm currently behind on my most recent deadline! I need $2,600 to be FULLY FUNDED! If you feel lead to donate you can do so up top or my venmo is Maggie-Obryan-1. Thank you so much to everyone who has encouraged, supported, and prayed for me over this journey! I'm so thankful for you guys!
