Let’s catch up!

 

I wanted to share a few things with you guys and pretty much just talk about how awesome Jesus is… sound good?

 

So, last week I went to my very last church camp as a student (super weird) and can I just tell y’all the Lord was MOVING! I witnessed breakthrough in ways I can’t even put into words and saw God answer prayers I have been praying for years. Here is a little praise report, last year at camp I was praying for one of my sweet friends to come to know Jesus and be able to live in her true identity in Him. Over the next year I saw God gently sowing seeds in her life from all around and a year later at camp she gave her life to Christ… but get this. On Sunday she was BAPTIZED!!! It was so sweet and refreshing to see God change her heart in just a few days and be crazy specific in His word and keeping His promise to me. I could give you about a million other examples of God changing the live of all the girls in my group but this blog would take like 2 hour to read lol. 

 

As for me, I’ll be honest going into camp I was in a dry season I felt like I couldn’t shake. However, I was met with the presence of God everywhere I turned. In the messages, in night worship on the beach with my small group, in the encouragement of my sisters, in prayer, literally everywhere. I was filled with this childlike awe of God that I had missed so badly. I was reminded of my identity and of His grace. My prayer coming home was that this was not just a “Jesus high” from camp, but that it was my new normal, I prayed to crave that intimacy with the Lord everyday and to seek it with all my being. So all in all Camp was insanely filled with the holy spirit to say the least.  

 

ALSO… I want to talk about fundraising.

 

Fundraising is hard. But God is so good. By the insane and amazing grace of our Father I am 57% funded and only $537 away from my second fundraising goal! At the beginning of this journey I won’t lie, $16,600 seemed nearly impossible. I knew that God willing He would provide but I could never see the finish line it just seemed so far. But standing here now seeing all the hearts Jesus has stretched and the generosity poured out to me the past 8 months I’m just so thankful. If you have donated to me even just $2 I am eternally grateful for you. Thank you all for believing in me and praying for me and standing by me. I now have $7,137 to raise and I’m confident in the Lord’s ability to raise it. I feel like I have said this a thousand times but if you feel led to give or if your thinking about giving just pray about it. If you don’t feel lead to give please just pray for my team and I, the countdown to launch is on with just little less than 3 months before I leave. By giving and praying you are building God’s kingdom and I can’t wait to see what He is going to do over this next year. 

I know that was a lot of thoughts all strung together but that has been everything on my heart these past few weeks. Thank you guys for reading and being amazing. Thank you Jesus for being all you are.
