Howdy! I made it to Gainesville, GA! WOOHOO!

I moved into the beautiful cabin I get to call home last Friday and it’s been very exciting around here! The cabin we live in is on 73 acres of land and full of 14 fun-loving women! I have the pleasure of living with my 2 roommates Carissa and Cassi! Carissa is from Austin, Texas and did the world race gap year with me! She is one of my dearest friends! Cassi came all the way from Portland, Oregon and we’ve crossed paths more times than we can count but this is the first season of life we get to be real life friends! Thanks God! 

We live in a sweet room overlooking the WATERFALL in our back yard (I know right). And across the hall is one of our house mentors, Erika! She’s on staff at AIM and is there to encourage and give wisdom and just do life with us! Her partner in crime is Abby, another incredible women who pours into us and loves us so well! 

So far we’ve been, what we like to call “nesting”, in our room and getting it all dolled up and cozy! We (my roommates and I) cooked our first dinner and even made our first ice cream run. We had our first day of class on Monday and I’m so eager for what the Lord is going to do over the course of the next 5 months!

I’m currently in the process of job hunting and getting my heart settled in good ol’ Gainesville. I would love your prayers for that and for the rest of my class as they do the same.
